Tour Overview

Tanzania is the land safaris! From the famous Serengeti National Park (one of the earth’s most impressive natural cycles has played itself: The Great Wildebeest Migration), marvel at Ngorongoro Crater as prey and predators graze and stalk their way around the crater floor's open grasslands, swamps, and acacia woodland.  We then take you to the white sands and turquoise waters of Zanzibar Island. This trip takes you through the Serengeti in a luxurious tourist class vehicle, sleeping in safari-style lodges for the first half, then down to Zanzibar for the second half before returning home.

Many different landscapes can be found in the Serengeti: savanna with the big plains to the south, hills and woods to the west, the kopjes area to the east, and bush land to the north. Important rivers (Seronera, Banagi, Grumeti) also run through the park.
    • Different species of mammals can be spotted during game drives, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, hippo and crocodiles.
    • Your dinner and overnight stay at the Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp or Tortillis Tented Camp.
  • Day 4: Serengeti National Park
